Responsibilities
- Design and implement evidence-based public health interventions targeting chronic disease prevention
- Manage $2M+ annual budgets with rigorous compliance tracking
- Lead cross-functional teams including epidemiologists, community health workers, and data analysts
- Develop policy recommendations for City Council and Health Commissioner review
- Collaborate with state/federal agencies on grant-funded initiatives
- Analyze population health data to identify emerging trends and disparities
- Oversee community outreach programs serving vulnerable populations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years managing public health programs with budget oversight
- Experience with Maryland public health regulations and reporting systems
- Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI)
- Valid Maryland driver's license with clean record
- PHR or CPH certification preferred
- Proven ability to secure federal/state grants
- Strong stakeholder management skills across government/nonprofit sectors
