Responsibilities

- Conduct epidemiological investigations and analyze health trends using advanced statistical methods
- Coordinate multi-agency responses to public health emergencies and outbreaks
- Manage grant-funded projects with budgets exceeding $500K
- Provide expert testimony to legislative committees on health policy recommendations
- Mentor junior staff and supervise community health worker teams
- Prepare comprehensive reports for state and federal health agencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in public health program implementation
- Advanced proficiency in statistical software (R, SAS, SPSS)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or equivalent credential
- Experience managing federal/state grant compliance
- Strong knowledge of California Health and Safety Code
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Valid California driver's license
