Responsibilities
- Develop and implement public health programs targeting chronic disease prevention and health equity
- Analyze epidemiological data to identify trends and inform intervention strategies
- Coordinate emergency response protocols during public health crises
- Lead community outreach initiatives and stakeholder partnerships
- Manage program budgets and ensure compliance with county/state regulations
- Train and supervise junior public health staff
- Prepare grant proposals and reports for funding agencies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health or related field (MPH preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in public health program management
- Valid Colorado driver's license and reliable transportation
- Experience with epidemiological data analysis tools (e.g., SAS, R)
- Certified in Public Health (CPH) or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Strong written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to work evenings/weekends during public health emergencies
