Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy issues and recommend evidence-based solutions to City Council
- Develop strategic plans for community development initiatives
- Coordinate interdepartmental projects with 15+ city agencies
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for public officials
- Manage grant applications and compliance for federal/state programs
- Engage with community stakeholders through public forums
- Monitor legislative changes affecting municipal operations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of government/public sector experience
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Tableau)
- Proven track record in policy development and implementation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid Texas driver's license
- US citizenship required for federal compliance
- Certified Public Manager (CPM) preferred
