Responsibilities
- Analyze complex policy data and draft evidence-based recommendations for state legislation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement public programs across Northern California
- Conduct stakeholder outreach with government agencies, nonprofits, and community organizations
- Monitor policy implementation outcomes and prepare comprehensive impact reports
- Present findings to legislative committees and senior state officials
- Lead strategic initiatives aligned with California's public policy priorities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in state/local government policy analysis
- Advanced proficiency in quantitative data analysis tools (SPSS, R, or SAS)
- Proven track record of drafting successful legislative proposals
- Strong knowledge of California's governmental processes and regulations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Valid California driver's license
