Responsibilities
- Analyze complex legislative proposals and regulatory impacts using advanced quantitative methods
- Develop comprehensive policy briefs and recommendations for executive leadership
- Coordinate with state agencies to implement evidence-based policy solutions
- Lead stakeholder engagement sessions with community leaders and industry partners
- Manage multi-million dollar grant programs and compliance reporting
- Present findings to legislative committees and senior government officials
- Mentor junior analysts and foster cross-functional collaboration
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Policy, Public Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive policy analysis experience in government or public sector
- Advanced proficiency in statistical analysis tools (SPSS, R, or Python)
- Proven track record of developing actionable policy recommendations
- Expertise in Georgia state government operations and legislative processes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with executive presence
- Valid Georgia driver's license and ability to travel statewide
