Responsibilities
- Analyze crime data and emergency response metrics to identify trends and recommend policy improvements
- Develop comprehensive public safety reports for city council and stakeholder briefings
- Coordinate inter-departmental safety initiatives with police, fire, and emergency management teams
- Implement data visualization tools to communicate safety insights to public audiences
- Manage grant applications and compliance for federal/state safety funding programs
- Lead community outreach initiatives to gather feedback on safety priorities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, Data Science, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in government or public safety sector
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, R, Python) and GIS software
- Proven track record of developing evidence-based policy recommendations
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license and ability to work flexible hours including evenings
- Strong written/verbal communication skills with ability to present complex data to diverse audiences
- Familiarity with FEMA grant programs and NIMS compliance standards
