Responsibilities
- Oversee $50M+ annual infrastructure capital projects
- Manage fleet operations and public facility maintenance
- Develop FEMA-compliant emergency response protocols
- Coordinate with county/state agencies on transportation initiatives
- Lead cross-departmental sustainability programs
- Prepare federal grant applications and compliance reports
- Supervise 15+ technical staff and contractors
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Public Administration (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years municipal infrastructure management
- Valid Florida Professional Engineer license
- FEMA PMP certification required
- Experience with CDBG/Infrastructure Investment Act grants
- Advanced knowledge of FDOT and Miami-Dade County codes
- Strong financial/budget administration skills
- Spanish proficiency highly desirable
