Responsibilities
- Oversee complex infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and water systems
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and environmental standards
- Manage project budgets exceeding $5M with strict fiscal accountability
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers and contractors
- Develop long-term capital improvement plans
- Conduct site inspections and quality assurance reviews
- Prepare technical reports and public presentations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of municipal infrastructure experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience with CAD/GIS software and project management tools
- Knowledge of CA environmental regulations (CEQA, NPDES)
- Strong budget management and contract administration skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Valid California driver's license
