Responsibilities
- Design and oversee $10M+ infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and transit systems
- Coordinate with federal/state agencies for compliance with MUTCD and FHWA standards
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, contractors, and community stakeholders
- Develop innovative solutions for climate-resilient infrastructure in coastal zones
- Manage project budgets and ensure timely delivery using Primavera P6
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to the City Council Transportation Committee
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering + 8+ years experience (PE license required)
- Proven expertise in transportation modeling and traffic engineering
- Experience with MassDOT and Federal Transit Administration regulations
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS systems
- Strong public speaking skills for community engagement
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Master's degree in Transportation Engineering highly desirable
