Responsibilities
- Manage municipal infrastructure projects including roadways, drainage systems, and public facilities
- Oversee engineering design reviews, contractor coordination, and compliance with federal/state regulations
- Prepare technical specifications, cost estimates, and project schedules
- Conduct field inspections and ensure adherence to safety standards
- Lead stakeholder engagement with residents, businesses, and regulatory agencies
- Mentor junior engineers and maintain project documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of municipal engineering experience with infrastructure projects
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and GIS software
- Strong knowledge of TCEP and TxDOT standards
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Experience with public procurement processes and budget management
