Responsibilities
- Oversee design and implementation of municipal infrastructure projects (water systems, roads, drainage)
- Manage project budgets exceeding $5M and ensure compliance with CA state regulations
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies
- Conduct site inspections and prepare technical documentation/reports
- Develop sustainable solutions for urban development challenges
- Coordinate with federal/state funding programs for grant applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of progressive engineering experience in public sector
- Valid California Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Expertise in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, and hydraulic modeling software
- Strong knowledge of CA Public Contract Code and environmental regulations
- Proven track record managing complex municipal projects
- Ability to obtain security clearance for sensitive infrastructure data
