Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, graders, rollers) for road construction
- Install/repair water mains, storm drains, and sewer lines
- Perform concrete work including curb/gutter pouring and sidewalk repair
- Conduct site surveys and grade verification using laser levels
- Manage erosion control and environmental compliance protocols
- Maintain equipment daily and perform minor repairs
- Adhere to OSHA/MNOSHA safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- 3+ years of public works/construction experience
- Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement
- MN DOT Level 2 Traffic Control Certification
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction training
- Ability to lift 75 lbs regularly and work in extreme weather
- Basic math skills for material calculations
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Must be US citizen or permanent resident
