Responsibilities
- Execute heavy civil construction projects including trenching, pipe installation, and concrete work
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, rollers, dump trucks) with OSHA compliance
- Perform site preparation, grading, and erosion control measures
- Conduct utility line maintenance and emergency repairs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with engineering teams on blueprints and project specifications
- Maintain accurate daily progress logs and equipment inspection reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of public works or heavy construction experience
- Valid Class B CDL license with airbrakes endorsement
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to pass physical agility test and drug screening
- Experience with GPS survey equipment and digital project tools
- Working knowledge of Caltrans and LA City construction standards
- Ability to lift 75 lbs repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
