Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, loaders, graders) for infrastructure construction/maintenance
- Execute road repairs, sewer line installations, and drainage system upgrades
- Coordinate with engineering teams on blueprint implementation and quality control
- Lead safety protocols and conduct equipment inspections daily
- Manage material inventory and waste disposal per EPA standards
- Maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports
Qualifications
- 3+ years of public works or heavy construction experience
- Valid Class B CDL license with air brake endorsement
- OSHA 30-hour construction certification required
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pennsylvania DOT equipment operator certification preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic math skills for material calculations
