Responsibilities
- Lead crew operations in heavy civil construction projects
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, loaders, rollers)
- Perform complex concrete work including forms/pouring
- Execute underground utility installations and repairs
- Ensure OSHA compliance and site safety protocols
- Coordinate with engineering teams on blueprints
- Maintain equipment logs and preventative maintenance
Qualifications
- 5+ years public works/construction experience
- Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement
- Certified in OSHA 30-hour construction
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and work in extreme weather
- Experience with GPS machine control systems
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Nebraska flagging certification (or obtainable)
- High school diploma or equivalent
