Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment (excavators, graders, loaders) for infrastructure projects
- Perform skilled asphalt/concrete repairs and stormwater maintenance
- Lead crews during snow removal and emergency response operations
- Conduct daily safety inspections and enforce OSHA compliance
- Coordinate with engineering teams for project specifications
- Maintain accurate equipment logs and maintenance records
Qualifications
- 3+ years of public works or heavy construction experience
- Valid Class B CDL with airbrakes endorsement
- MN DOT Level 2 Traffic Control Certification
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification
- Ability to lift 75 lbs and operate in extreme weather
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
