Responsibilities
- Architect and develop secure, scalable cloud-native applications using AWS and Azure.
- Lead the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews and mentor junior engineers to foster a culture of technical excellence.
- Ensure all technical solutions comply with strict state security, privacy, and accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and resolve complex architectural challenges.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes to increase delivery velocity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience in a corporate or government environment.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and RESTful APIs.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and Jira.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
