Responsibilities
- Oversee the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Windows Server environments and virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Implement and enforce robust security protocols to safeguard state data and networks against cyber threats.
- Design and deploy scalable cloud solutions, primarily focusing on Azure infrastructure management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive system optimization.
- Manage user access, permissions, and Active Directory services to ensure seamless IT operations.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for critical system maintenance and incident response.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Systems Administration within a large-scale enterprise environment.
- Active certification in Microsoft (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) or equivalent cloud platform certification (AWS/Azure).
- Strong proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash) and automation tools.
- Deep knowledge of network protocols, virtualization, and disaster recovery planning.
- Ability to obtain a CA State Public Trust background clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
