Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain secure federal network infrastructure and server environments.
- Implement and enforce security protocols and compliance standards (e.g., NIST 800-53).
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for complex IT issues.
- Configure and optimize firewalls, VPNs, and network security appliances.
- Conduct regular system audits, vulnerability assessments, and patch management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable IT solutions.
- Document system configurations, incident reports, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Active Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in systems administration within a federal or government contracting environment.
- Proficiency in Windows Server and Linux environments.
- CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or equivalent security certification preferred.
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and service desk operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
