Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements and translate them into robust technical specifications and system designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and state agency stakeholders, to ensure project alignment.
- Design, implement, and maintain complex IT solutions, including software applications, databases, and network systems.
- Perform system testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and performance.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including technical manuals and process flows.
- Monitor system performance and security protocols to protect sensitive government data.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, application development, or technical consulting.
- Proven experience with SQL, Java, or Python programming languages.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies, and ITIL frameworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a State of Indiana security clearance.
