Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end analysis and design of complex information systems and business processes to support City operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and implement database solutions and software applications using modern programming languages.
- Perform system testing, quality assurance, and troubleshooting to ensure high system availability and performance.
- Document technical architecture, system requirements, and operational procedures for compliance and knowledge transfer.
- Conduct regular system audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend security enhancements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT consulting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, Java, or C#.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Understanding of government regulations, data privacy laws, and public sector best practices.
