Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and system designs.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions and integrations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure project alignment.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security.
- Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and quality assurance checks.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and development staff.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, security standards, and IT governance policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or software development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, or C#.
- Experience with enterprise systems and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Level II Background Investigation as required by the State of Tennessee.
