Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system design and development.
- Lead the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and city stakeholders, to ensure project success.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee contract performance for third-party software solutions.
- Implement and maintain data governance policies to ensure information security and integrity.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance to the IT team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, requirements engineering, or software development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or SQL.
- Experience working within a government or public sector environment is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
