Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive systems analysis to define business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and implement technical solutions that align with state standards and best practices.
- Lead code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior analysts and developers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across various state agencies to ensure project alignment and successful delivery.
- Perform quality assurance testing and troubleshoot complex system issues to ensure optimal performance.
- Document technical processes, system architecture, and user manuals.
- Mentor team members on best practices for government compliance and data security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or software development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and modern web technologies (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and database management systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with government contracting processes, federal/state regulations (e.g., FISMA, ISO 27001), or Agile methodologies.
- Ability to obtain a Washington State Basic Security Clearance.
