Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive requirements analysis for complex IT projects and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and implement scalable software solutions and system architectures aligned with state standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams, including developers, stakeholders, and project managers, to ensure project delivery within scope and timeline.
- Maintain and optimize existing systems to ensure high availability, security, and performance.
- Perform data analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes for state health initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior analysts and developers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT consulting.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, or C#.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to obtain a State of Texas driver's license and pass a background check.
