Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and system designs.
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of software solutions that meet state regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers and developers, to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Perform system testing, debugging, and validation to ensure data integrity and system functionality.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance on best practices and coding standards.
- Document all system requirements, processes, and changes to ensure knowledge transfer and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in systems analysis, business analysis, or software development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Java, and/or .NET environments is required.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to obtain a State of Texas driver’s license and pass a background check.
