Responsibilities
- System Architecture & Maintenance: Design, implement, and maintain complex state government software systems and databases to ensure high availability and performance.
- Project Leadership: Lead cross-functional IT projects from conception to deployment, managing timelines, budgets, and stakeholder expectations.
- Compliance & Security: Ensure all technical solutions adhere to state regulations, federal standards, and cybersecurity protocols.
- Data Analysis: Analyze system requirements and user feedback to optimize processes and enhance user experience for government services.
- Technical Support: Serve as the primary technical point of contact for complex troubleshooting and system upgrades.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT project management within a large-scale organization.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Java, .NET, and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure).
- Government Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of government contracting, compliance, or public sector IT challenges.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
