Responsibilities
- Oversee design and implementation of highway/bridge infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with federal/state transportation regulations and safety standards
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers and technical specialists
- Conduct traffic impact studies and recommend infrastructure improvements
- Prepare detailed engineering reports and regulatory documentation
- Coordinate with local municipalities and federal agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D) and traffic modeling tools
- Demonstrated project management experience with large-scale infrastructure
- Strong knowledge of TxDOT standards and FHWA regulations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
