Responsibilities
- Design and oversee complex highway and bridge projects using advanced engineering software
- Manage project budgets exceeding $10M and coordinate multi-agency stakeholder relationships
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations (FHWA, INDOT standards)
- Lead environmental impact assessments and sustainability initiatives
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical quality reviews
- Develop innovative solutions for traffic flow optimization and infrastructure resilience
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited institution
- 5+ years of progressive transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Indiana
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, and traffic modeling software
- Demonstrated experience with federally funded transportation projects
- Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills
- Valid Indiana driver's license
