Responsibilities
- Oversee design and implementation of highway/bridge projects in Bexar County
- Analyze traffic data and optimize signal systems for improved mobility
- Manage multimodal transportation planning initiatives
- Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies for project alignment
- Lead environmental impact assessments and compliance reviews
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical quality reviews
- Develop transportation models using industry-standard software
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and traffic modeling software
- Experience with TxDOT design standards and procedures
- Strong project management skills with PMP certification preferred
- Excellent written communication for technical reports and proposals
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License
