Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of multimodal transportation projects in Travis County
- Manage engineering teams and coordinate with federal/state/local agencies
- Oversee environmental compliance and permitting processes
- Develop innovative solutions for urban congestion challenges
- Prepare technical documentation and construction specifications
- Maintain project budgets and schedules using state systems
- Conduct field inspections and quality assurance reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited)
- 5+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas
- Experience with TxDOT design standards and manuals
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and transportation modeling software
- Demonstrated project management of $5M+ infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of federal transportation regulations (23 CFR)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
