Responsibilities
- Assist in highway design plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Conduct field surveys and document infrastructure conditions
- Prepare engineering reports and permit applications
- Coordinate with contractors and local agencies
- Review construction plans for regulatory compliance
- Manage project documentation and CAD files
- Support traffic analysis and safety assessments
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
- 2+ years CAD software experience (AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred)
- Kansas driver's license with clean record
- Knowledge of MUTCD and KDOT standards
- Strong mathematical and technical writing skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Experience with surveying equipment
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
