Responsibilities
- Design and oversee highway, bridge, and transit infrastructure projects
- Ensure compliance with federal/state transportation regulations (MUTCD, PennDOT standards)
- Conduct traffic studies and analyze transportation data for optimization
- Manage project budgets and coordinate with contractors and stakeholders
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and engineering drawings
- Implement sustainable transportation solutions for urban environments
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering
- 3+ years of relevant transportation project experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Pennsylvania
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and traffic simulation software
- Strong knowledge of PennDOT design standards and permitting processes
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
