Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate light machinery (e.g., jackhammers, saws, dump trucks) with proper safety protocols
- Assist in road maintenance, drainage projects, and park facility upkeep
- Collaborate with crews to complete daily work orders efficiently
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and maintain clean work sites
- Participate in emergency response during severe weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas Driver's Class B License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment preferred
