Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support and troubleshooting for state agency hardware and software systems.
- Monitor server infrastructure and perform routine maintenance during weekend operations to ensure system availability.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and Active Directory services.
- Respond to help desk tickets and resolve technical issues with a focus on security and compliance.
- Collaborate with the central IT team to implement new software patches and security updates.
- Document technical issues and resolutions in the Service Desk database.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Office 365.
- Familiarity with government IT security protocols and compliance standards.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during weekend shifts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and customer service orientation.
