Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain local area networks (LANs) and wide area networks (WANs) to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide advanced technical support, troubleshooting, and resolution for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Implement and monitor network security measures to protect sensitive government data and infrastructure.
- Conduct regular system audits and perform routine maintenance to ensure compliance with state standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and develop scalable solutions.
- Document technical processes and maintain accurate records of system configurations and changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or Cisco CCNA are strongly preferred.
- 3+ years of professional experience in IT support, network administration, or systems analysis.
- Deep knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network protocols (TCP/IP).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and obtain a State of Indiana Public Trust clearance.
