Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation, processing, and filing of government documents, forms, and correspondence in strict adherence to state regulations.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date digital and physical records of departmental activities, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with state agencies, constituents, and internal stakeholders to resolve inquiries and facilitate information flow.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with local, state, and federal government policies and procedural guidelines.
- Perform general office support duties, including scheduling, inventory management, and assisting the administrative team with daily operations.
- Conduct research and compile data reports to support decision-making processes within the department.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Public Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in a government or public sector environment is highly desirable.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse populations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic data entry capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
