Responsibilities
- Project Management: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of state-funded initiatives and community programs to ensure alignment with government regulations.
- Policy Analysis: Conduct thorough research and analysis on current policies to provide data-driven recommendations to senior administration officials.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, external agencies, and community members, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure all departmental activities adhere to state and local laws, ordinances, and ethical standards.
- Resource Allocation: Manage budgets and resources efficiently to maximize the impact of government programs.
- Crisis Management: Respond to emergencies and urgent issues with professionalism and agility.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a government or public sector environment.
- Licensure: Valid California Driver’s License and proof of insurance.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and government database management systems (e.g., Oracle, Salesforce).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex regulations into understandable terms.
- Integrity: Strong ethical foundation and the ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive government matters.
