Responsibilities
- Analyze complex environmental policies and legislative impacts using quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Develop policy recommendations for renewable energy, climate resilience, and conservation initiatives
- Prepare comprehensive reports, briefings, and testimony for legislative committees and public hearings
- Coordinate interagency collaboration on environmental justice and sustainability programs
- Manage stakeholder engagement with municipalities, NGOs, and industry representatives
- Monitor federal regulatory changes and assess implications for Massachusetts compliance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Public Policy, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of policy analysis or government affairs experience
- Expertise in environmental regulations and climate action frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, R, or Python)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Massachusetts state government processes
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license
