Responsibilities
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for in-person and remote government inquiries during weekend hours.
- Process and verify incoming documents, applications, and payments with high accuracy.
- Maintain and update state databases and records systems.
- Assist the public with navigation of state services and online portals.
- Ensure compliance with all New York State privacy and security regulations.
- Perform routine system backups and maintenance checks.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service, data entry, or IT support.
- Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and state-specific software systems.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting as required for state employment.
