Responsibilities
- Record Management: Organize, archive, and retrieve physical and digital state documents with strict adherence to confidentiality standards.
- Data Entry: Input, update, and verify information into state databases and filing systems accurately and efficiently.
- Inventory Control: Conduct regular audits of office supplies and filing materials to ensure adequate stock levels.
- Customer Service: Assist internal and external stakeholders with inquiries regarding records and administrative procedures.
- Compliance: Ensure all records management activities comply with state regulations and agency policies.
- Assistance: Support the Records Management Supervisor with special projects and daily operational tasks.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree in Records Management or Business Administration is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an office setting, records management, or administrative support.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and electronic filing systems.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to maintain accuracy in data entry and record maintenance.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with the public.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift and move boxes of records weighing up to 25 pounds and sit for extended periods.
