Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain server infrastructure and network operations during the night shift.
- Perform routine system patches, updates, and security configurations to ensure system integrity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues reported by end-users and internal teams.
- Monitor system performance and performance logs to proactively identify potential issues.
- Ensure compliance with state IT security policies and data protection regulations.
- Collaborate with day-shift teams to document changes and hand over critical tickets.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in systems administration or network engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently during off-hours.
- Must be available to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
