Responsibilities
- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex software systems and technical solutions for state agency initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and translate them into technical specifications and system designs.
- Develop, test, and deploy code using modern programming languages and frameworks within a secure government environment.
- Conduct system integration testing, performance tuning, and quality assurance to ensure deliverables meet stringent state standards.
- Mentor junior analysts and provide technical guidance to cross-functional project teams.
- Document system architecture, requirements, and technical processes in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, software development, or IT consulting.
- Strong proficiency in Java, SQL, and relational database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server).
- Experience with web development technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or hold a valid work authorization in the United States.
