Responsibilities
- Lead complex system implementations and oversee the full software development lifecycle for state agency applications.
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for development teams.
- Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity across multiple state platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including department heads, IT staff, and external vendors.
- Conduct quality assurance testing and troubleshoot system issues to maintain 99.9% uptime.
- Document technical processes and maintain up-to-date system architecture diagrams.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in systems analysis, software engineering, or IT consulting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python, JavaScript, and experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is required.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Licensure: Must be a US Citizen and pass a background check and drug screening.
