Responsibilities
- Maintain, repair, and install traffic signs, signals, and pavement markings according to specifications.
- Inspect streets and intersections to identify hazards or maintenance needs.
- Operate maintenance vehicles and equipment, such as trucks, cranes, and jackhammers, safely and efficiently.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and road closures promptly.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during inclement weather.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger and Tanker endorsements preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read blueprints, maps, and technical diagrams.
