Responsibilities
- Design and oversee transportation infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and traffic systems
- Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to optimize flow and safety
- Prepare engineering reports, plans, and specifications for municipal projects
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local agencies on transportation initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ADA, MUTCD, and other regulatory standards
- Manage project budgets and timelines with precision
- Present technical findings to public officials and community stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 years of transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Arizona
- Proficiency in CAD software (Auto Civil 3D preferred) and traffic modeling tools
- Demonstrated knowledge of federal transportation funding programs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license
