Responsibilities
- Design and oversee highway, bridge, and traffic signal projects using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Analyze traffic patterns and congestion data to optimize infrastructure solutions
- Prepare engineering reports, cost estimates, and compliance documentation
- Coordinate with contractors, local agencies, and stakeholders during project execution
- Ensure adherence to MoDOT standards, FHWA regulations, and environmental guidelines
- Conduct field inspections and quality control for ongoing transportation projects
- Develop innovative solutions for sustainable and resilient infrastructure systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Transportation Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of relevant transportation engineering experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Missouri or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in transportation modeling software (e.g., Synchro, Vistro)
- Strong knowledge of MUTCD standards and MoDOT design policies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical reporting
- Valid Missouri driver's license
- Experience with GIS systems and traffic data analysis preferred
