Responsibilities
- Oversee design and construction of highway/bridge projects in Tarrant County
- Conduct traffic studies and impact analyses for transportation corridors
- Manage project budgets and compliance with federal/state regulations
- Coordinate with local municipalities and engineering firms
- Prepare technical reports and environmental documentation
- Implement Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical specifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
- Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- 5+ years of transportation engineering experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and traffic modeling software
- Experience with TxDOT design standards and procedures
- Strong knowledge of FHWA and TxDOT regulations
- Valid Texas driver's license
- Experience with NEPA documentation preferred
