Responsibilities
- Design and analyze transportation infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, and traffic systems

- Conduct traffic studies and impact assessments using industry-standard software
- Coordinate with local agencies, contractors, and community stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and NCDOT design standards
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation
- Review and approve engineering documents and construction plans
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina
- Minimum 3 years of transportation engineering experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and traffic modeling software
- Strong knowledge of MUTCD and transportation design standards
- Excellent project management and communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a valid NC driver's license
